Educational Concept

 

This holiday camp is designed for children aged 9–12 years and combines theatre education, dance (Hip Hop & Jazz), and child psychology elements (group of max. 12 children).
The aim is to support children’s personal development, make their strengths visible, and foster self-confidence, emotional competence, mental resilience, and teamwork skills.

Program

Morning Program

Focus on theatre education and confidence and empowerment games.
Topics include: self-expression, emotions, roles, group dynamics, and self-awareness.

Afternoon Program

Focus on dance (Hip Hop / Jazz).
Topics include: body awareness, energy, courage, presence, and self-efficacy.

Daily Schedule (09:00–16:30)
  • 09:00–09:30 Arrival & getting to know each other
  • 09:30–11:00 Theatre education session
  • 11:00–11:15 Break
  • 11:15–12:30 Creative workshop / reflection
  • 12:30–13:30 Lunch break (children bring their own lunchbox; water and fruit are provided)
  • 13:30–15:00 Dance session (Hip Hop or Jazz)
  • 15:00–15:15 Break
  • 15:15–16:15 Dance session
  • 16:15–16:30 Closing circle and pick-up

Tuesday – Emotions & Expression

Theme: Allowing Feelings to Be Shown

  • Jazz dance – expression

Wednesday – Courage & Mental Strength

Theme: I Dare to Try
  • Role changes & voice work
  • Mental strength, learning from mistakes & posture
  • Hip Hop power moves
  • Courage choreographies

Thursday – Teamwork & Cooperation

Theme: Stronger Together
  • Group scenes & cooperation
  • Team roles
  • Connecting theatre & dance session → self-created work
  • Mini performances

Friday – Presentation & Pride

Theme: I Show What’s Inside Me
  • Stage presence & fine-tuning
  • Bringing theatre & dance together
  • Final performance
