Ballet Class

A graceful and elegant art form

Classical dance is a fascinating art form that brings several benefits to children. As well as being a fun physical activity, classical dance favours the physical, emotional and cognitive development of young pups.

Physical development

Classical dance requires a series of precise movements that favour the development of muscle strength, flexibility and motor coordination in children.

During our classes, young dancers learn to play with music and body in the Baby ballet course and then to perform steps, jumps and poses that require total control of the body in Predance and Preparatoire courses. This stimulates the development of motor skills, helping to improve balance and posture.

In addition, classical dance promotes endurance and agility, maintaining a good general state of health in the child.

Concentration

Classical dance requires discipline and concentration. Children learn to follow detailed instructions and listen carefully to their teacher in the Ballet courses with 2 times per week.

This allows you to develop skills of self-control and respect for the rules, to be applied in everyday life. In addition, children in dance learn to memorise complex choreography and coordinate movements with music, thus requiring great mental concentration that promotes the development of cognitive abilities and attention.

Emotional expression

Classical dance is a great form of artistic expression that allows children to express their emotions and feelings. Thanks to movement and music, young dancers learn to communicate without words, developing a greater awareness of their emotions.

Socialisation

Very importantly, classical dance offers children the chance to work in groups and develop important social skills.

During dance classes, young dancers collaborate with their classmates by coordinating as one team. This favours the creation of bonds of friendship, encouraging respect and empathy towards
